Stainless steel balls are typically produced using a stainless steel forging process. Common materials include 201, 302, 304, 316, 316L, 420, and 440C. These materials exhibit varying corrosion resistance and mechanical properties depending on the element ratios and heat treatment processes.

1. 200 Series: 201 stainless steel, for example, is a chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel. However, its rust resistance is relatively weak and it is not recommended for use in industries requiring high levels of rust and corrosion protection.

2. 300 Series: 304 and 302 stainless steel, for example, are chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels. They offer excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties and are widely used.

3. 400 Series: 420 and 440C stainless steel, for example, are chromium-nickel stainless steels (commonly known as stainless steel). They have high hardness and good wear resistance, but relatively weak rust resistance.
