Machinability	Easy to forge, cast, machine and polish	It can be manufactured into micro balls ranging from millimeter size to large balls of centimeter size. The surface can be polished to a mirror finish, suitable for different precision requirements.
Thermal / Electrical Conductivity	The thermal conductivity is approximately 100-120 W/(m·K), and the electrical conductivity is 60%-70% of that of pure copper.	Suitable for scenarios that require "heat dissipation" or "low conductivity" (such as small heat dissipation components, anti-static devices)

Processing Considerations

Annealing Process: projects

Requires annealing at 550-650℃ after cold working to eliminate internal stress and prevent cracking.

Welding Requirements:

Preferably use argon arc welding to reduce the zinc evaporation and pore defects.

Corrosion Protection:

Avoid direct exposure to seawater or ammonia environments; it is recommended to add a coating or plating.

Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of Brass H62 is characterized by a high copper content, with zinc as the principal alloying element. The typical composition is approximately 61.5% to 63.5% copper and the remainder zinc. Trace elements such as lead (Pb), iron (Fe), and silicon (Si) may be present in minute quantities, affecting the alloy's properties slightly. The composition of H62 is regulated by standards such as GB/T 5231 in China, which ensures consistency in its application.
