Cemented carbide balls are powder metallurgy products made primarily from micron-sized powders of high-hardness refractory metal carbides (WC, TiC), with cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), or molybdenum (Mo) as a binder. These powders are sintered in a vacuum furnace or hydrogen reduction furnace. Common cemented carbide grades include the YG, YN, YT, and YW series.
