What is a hard Hard Plastic Sphere ?
Hard plastic balls refer to solid or hollow spheres made of thermoplastic or thermosetting plastics with high hardness and rigidity. They usually have characteristics such as wear resistance, pressure resistance, and dimensional stability, and are widely used in industrial components, toys, sports equipment, and other fields.
The common materials and characteristics of hard plastic balls are as follows:
Pom Plastic Ball
1. POM (polyoxymethylene, commonly known as "Sai Gang") balls: high-density, high crystallinity, high hardness, wear resistance, good self-lubricating properties, low water absorption, suitable for precision components such as slides, bearings, valves, automotive parts, etc
Polypropylene Plastic Ball
PP (polypropylene) balls: can be made into solid or hollow, with good chemical resistance, commonly used for floating balls, sealing balls, etc.
Nylon Plastic Ball
PA (Nylon) Ball: Wear resistant, oil resistant, chemical resistant, high mechanical strength, but slightly higher water absorption than POM
Ptfe Teflon Ball
Low weight fluorinated semicrystalline polymer balls, they provide exceptional corrosion resistance and are used into high temperature applications.
