Hollow Polypropylene Ball

The hollow plastic balls mainly have the following characteristics:
1.Light weight and low density:
This is its most crucial characteristic. Due to the hollow interior, its density can be much lower than that of water (typically ranging from 0.2 to 0.8 g/cm³), allowing it to float on the surface of water and most liquids.

2.Good strength and toughness:
The polypropylene material itself has good mechanical strength, which makes the hollow balls less likely to break when subjected to certain compression.

3.Chemical corrosion resistance:
It exhibits excellent stability against most acids, bases, salts, oils and organic solvents, and is not prone to corrosion or dissolution.

4.Heat insulation and soundproofing:
The internally enclosed cavity structure makes it an ineffective conductor of heat and sound waves, thus possessing excellent insulation and soundproofing properties.

5.Electrical insulation property:
Polypropylene is an excellent electrical insulating material.

Limited temperature resistance: The melting point of polypropylene is usually around 160°C - 170°C. If used in a high-temperature environment for a long time, it will soften and deform, so it is not suitable for high-temperature applications.
Poor resistance to ultraviolet rays: It is prone to aging when exposed to sunlight for a long time, and anti-ultraviolet agents need to be added.
There is an upper limit to the strength: Although the strength is good, compared with solid glass microbeads or metal microbeads, its compressive strength is relatively low.
Usage: Liquid surface coverage, cosmetics, bearings, etc.
